Family Dinner

My daughter-in-law decided that now would be a good time for a visit. She left the path of a hurricane, bringing with her two granddaughters (Madison and her little sister Lilly. My son stayed behind to ride it through. Lucilly, the storm took a sudden change in course and missed them.

We cooked up a mess of corned beef, potatoes, carrots and cabbage. We invited my son's in-laws and all over for dinner.

After dinner Josh made virgin strawberry daiquiris for everyone. He decided to help out the blender. We ended up with pieces of the utensil in the drink. Nothing like a little wood fiber the help the digestion.

My daughter dropped in for desert and brought her son, Lance. We had a great time.

Lance and Sophie. Sophie looks like a wild dog. Actually she is very nice. Dottie, our little dog is in the background. Maybe someday I will figure out how to get rid of "silver eyes" in dogs. I can handle "red eyes" but not the silver ones.
